He is a veteran in the Beverage industry with a career focused on creation of export opportunities worldwide, NPD and management roles mostly in SMB environments in diverse industries. His expertise spans multi-site/multi-national manufacturing and distribution operations including brand building, marketing planning, global sourcing and supplier development, contract negotiations, demand planning and logistics.
Michael’s expertise has been gained through his work with European and overseas companies that range from start-ups to some of the nation’s top accounts. Michael has extensive business experience in the Benelux, Scandinavia, France, West Africa, USA and the Caribbean and speaks four languages fluently.
After fifteen years in commercial and executive roles in tech but mostly food, it was time for something new. The last ten years spent building and growing beverage brands around the globe. Being 2nd generation in a family owned niche juices and drinks company, I have gained extensive knowledge of the non alcoholic beverage industry. Leading a team of Account Managers and Trade Marketeers and being closely involved in exports over 35 countries, I think it is safe to say I know what I am talking about.
Combining commercial export knowledge in combination with managing the complexity of production, supply chain and marketing is my speciality. Constant focus on commercial success without forgetting about the human factor. Growing brands and export markets require an eye for detail and real-life experience.
